Three Projects

Desert Plants, desert wildflowers posing as divas. Combing a fascination with macro photograpy and influenced by the work of botanical illustrator Henry Mockel and the floral photographs of Irving Penn in Vogue, and Robert Mapelthorpe’s incredible photographs of floral arrangements.

Desertscapes, going back to my roots in large and medium format film photography I point my lens to the desert. Its great to play with the lighting and the imediacy of the moment found in the Mojave.
